Adobe XD (Experience design) is a highly sophisticated UI/UX graphics-based software used for the development of designing modern web applications, websites, and mobile apps. The industry-leading vector graphics software was built from the ground-up to facilitate streamlined designs, a collaborative environment, and sharing of complete/test designs on the web, iOS, and Android platforms as well as quick deployment. One of the main reason why this software stands out from the rest of the modern UI/UX based apps is its arrival of Creative Cloud subscription. Users with adobe subscription can now easily gain instant access to this powerful program and a lot more that Adobe XD has to offer.
Features of Adobe XD
It has a robust set of tools
Users who have used adobe’s classic and latest products of core digital drawing applications like Photoshop and Illustrator lacked several features needed for refining and adding finishing touch for modern web or portable app design and were hard to use or completely missing. The arrival of Adobe XD overcame that obstacle regarding intricate UI and UX designs along with plenty of powerful tools and complete support for vector-based graphics, automatic adjusting, and responsive resize.
It offers custom plug-ins and add-ons
Unlike Adobe’s other graphical tools like Illustrator and Photoshop, Adobe XD interface handles complex symbol libraries and design system that enables users to create and update impressive designs with ease. With updates released at frequent intervals, the devs implement many new plug-ins and features that magnify the experience and overall aesthetic of the program.
Adobe XD also has the support of third-party plug-ins like Auto Animate, Color Accessibility Check, Runner, and adding new plug-ins like Data Generator, Pixel Perfect as well as integration with Google Sheets, Trello, and Dibble.
Adobe XD has voice prototyping tool
Adobe recently made an announcement of a voice prototyping tool to Adobe XD toolset. It’s not the best or advanced feature you’d expect from a screen UI design tool, but voice commands UI is becoming more mainstream and common, similar to Alexa and Siri. Adobe XD’s unique voice prototyping gives designers the advantage to keep up with the trend as well as improving the workflow.
Interoperability with other Adobe products
Just like every other product with Adobe’s brand name into it, Adobe XD has full integration support of various other Adobe software like Adobe Photoshop, After effects, in-design. Supporting full cross-platform design. This software can also import and export files of well-known formats, making it a scalable and feature-rich vector-based graphics software.
